Our loved ones have been received into a better place but will always remain in our hearts.  They leave us their love and that follows us all of our lives.

My mother Maxine Gresham was the daughter of Beasley Gresham and Edith F. Coppedge. Edith was the daughter of Jeannie Roan and Augustus Coppedge.  My mother Maxine raised five children alone, but with the help of God she was successful in her life and goals. Rest in peace mommy!!!

Daddy,

You left us far too soon. We will always feel the void of not having you here with us to share our lives.  You never got to to see who we are now and to meet your grandchildren. Our children never got to know you.

We are comforted in the knowledge that love transcends all else.

We love you and miss you no matter how many years have passed.  You are still in our hearts.

Love,

Daddy,

I stay close to home now.  I was not quite four but I still remember you wrapping one hand around both my wrists, lifting me off the ground, and spanking my bottom because I slipped down the block to Dicena Searles' house.  Lesson well learned.  Daddy, you left too soon.  I miss you so.

All my love,
Eulalia

Grandma,

I was a baby when you passed away. I know I would have loved you so very much.

Grandmama,

Because you left in February of '47 and I was born in June, I only know you from stories passed on by my mother.  They were just snippets really but her memories of you allowed me to feel a kinship.  I'm honored to be your namesake.

Love,
Eulalia
